Magic Salt: A new smoky, sultry creation from the Curio Spice kitchen that will bring magical flavor to all of your meals. Made by accident (some of the best discoveries happen this way!), this blend became a staff favorite before we started packing it for sale. A blend of our favorite Turkish Maras chile flakes with smoked paprika, chipotle, cayenne and Maine sea salt, this medium-hot salt blend makes seasoning any breakfast, lunch or dinner a breeze.
Kampot & Salt: This blend combines Kampot black pepper and traditional Cambodian flavors with Maine Sea salt to make a bright, refreshing blend perfect for tossing with vegetables, adding to dressing, rubbing into meat (such as steak) or for sprinkling on seafood after cooking. 2.7 oz tin. Ingredients: Maine sea salt, Kampot pepper, ginger, lime, tarragon.
Kozani Spice: This blend is an aromatic combination of herbs and spices that can be used in soups, salad dressings or sauces. Try mixing with fresh lemon juice and spooning over fish or chicken, or toss with vegetables before roasting. 1.5 oz tin. Ingredients: Fennel, lemon peel, oregano, lemon verbena, sage, bee pollen, saffron.
Comfort Curry: Inspired by South Indian style curries, this deeply aromatic yellow curry spice is blended from our gorgeous Sri Lankan turmeric along with mace, nigella and white pepper. A mild curry, you can easily add cayenne to ramp up the heat. Great for classic curried chickpeas, daal, potatoes, or try in egg salad. Contains: Turmeric, coriander, cumin, fennel, cinnamon, black pepper, caraway, ginger, white pepper, nigella, mace, cardamom, clove.
Rose Harissa: Harissa is a popular North African spice and condiment used for vegetables, meat, eggs and breads. Ours has a mild-medium heat tempered by sweet rose petals. The spice can be used as a dry rub, or combined with a splash of water, vinegar and olive oil to use as a paste. It brings savory, spicy, complex flavors to any dish. Contains a small amount of sea salt. Contains: Chilies, cumin, coriander, caraway, rose buds, grains of paradise, garlic, sea salt.
Ras el Hanout: “Ras el Hanout” translates to “top of the shop” and ours is no exception. This blend of 13 spices is delicate and robust at once, with floral and earth notes. Use in rice dishes, tagines, with roasted vegetables and fish. Contains: Fennel, cumin, Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, rose petals, turmeric, cubeb pepper, grains of paradise, Kampot white pepper, orris root, mace, saffron, fennel pollen.
